Overview
The Tool Organizer project explores modular storage through a strictly rectilinear design system that clearly articulates dominant, subdominant, and subordinate elements. Guided by geometric constraint and user-centered considerations, the organizer addresses efficient storage needs within compact creative workspaces.
Developed through iterative sketching, technical drawing, and CAD modeling, the final design is a modular cardboard system featuring a removable pencil cup, a dedicated glue gun drawer, a side slot for triangle rulers, and vertical compartments for longer tools. Designed to sit at the corner of a desk, the organizer maximizes spatial efficiency while maintaining clean geometry, visual clarity, and functional accessibility.
